After completing her medical degree and an internship at Gandhi Medical College in India, Dr. Dasari moved to New York City to complete a residency program in radiation oncology at New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens. After five years, she moved her young family to the Dallas Metroplex in 2002.
Early in her medical education, a professor encouraged Dr. Dasari to specialize in radiation oncology because of her deep interest in physics and biology. Today, she credits her patients for inspiring her to excel in the always-evolving field. Dr. Dasari is a perpetual student who prides herself on being well-informed of the most current research in oncology. With all of the latest equipment and technology at her fingertips at Las Colinas Cancer Center, Dr. Dasari specializes in breast, head and neck cancers.
Dr. Dasari and her husband of 16 years have two school-aged sons. As a family, they enjoy sightseeing throughout the United States and abroad. When they’re at home in Addison, the Dasaris play and watch a lot of sports. Dr. Dasari especially enjoys rooting for the Indian national cricket team.
